WHERE'S THE FUNDING?!

Hey everyone!

We’re excited to launch the ‘Where’s the Funding?!’ campaign today.  Student societies from UBC, SFU, UVic, Capilano and Langara have come together to advocate on your behalf and call on the BC Government to commit to an immediate increase in funding to the post-secondary system on a long-term basis.

In order to achieve a more accessible and affordable post-secondary education, we are asking for the following:

1. The elimination of interest rates on student loans.
2. The re-establishment of a provincial needs-based grants program.
3. An increase to core-funding for colleges and universities.
